Who Are Game Testers?

There are some people who absolutely love playing video games. Naturally, the perfect job for this person would be video game testing. While it is fun work, it is also a serious job. Game testers are responsible for testing through all the steps while it is still in the development phase. Since it may be full of bugs, it is essential for a game tester to have patience.
Game testers must be organized and disciplined because they need to follow strict procedures. This job is not just about generating the highest score, but rather following a precise course of action to determine if the game is functioning as intended. An eye for detail is a must in this position, as is a cursory understanding of game programming and game design, so that any flaw found can be documented and fixed before the finished product is sent to market.
Video game testing is serious business. All testers must have a working knowledge of computer hardware and software. In addition, excellent communication skills are needed so that he or she can note the flaws in the game and evaluate/communicate its overall performance to designers. Therefore, testers must posses great eye-hand coordination and effective communication skills.
Bringing a new video game into the marketplace is time-consuming and expensive. Writers create the game’s characters, and illustrators give them life. Code programmers create the world the characters will operate in. Typically, game testers are introduced to the game early in the development process to help iron out flaws along the way. Game testers are called on often during the development stage to test the game at certain intervals and ensure quality.
Video game developers take the testing process seriously. Should a flawed game be sent to store shelves it can cost the manufacturer in terms of both lost revenue and a tarnished reputation. Hardcore video game enthusiasts want their games to work perfectly. Lose the gamers trust, and the game company risks losing market share. Yes, testing is serious business, and the worst case scenario is recalling a defective game from store shelves.
Game testers are problem finders. Some game testers only test the software, while others test for hardware compatibility and potential issues. Repetitive testing is applied to make sure problems do not crop up. If problems do arise, it might only happen in certain situations, and the tester is responsible for finding and noting the defect. Hardware tests might be implemented to the controller to see how the game performs under heavy use.
Many enthusiasts may think being a tester is all about playing. Some testing can be menial; for example, an entry-level tester may be required to turn the console on and off hundreds of times. Another tester might be asked to download movies while playing, just to see how the system responds.
However, if you are an individual that enjoys gadgets and tedious detail, then perhaps the career of video game tester is the job for you. You will have an inside look at how video games are tested for market, and furthermore, you will know what video games are coming out before they are actually released.

Video Game Design Tips to Love

A video game is more than just the sum of all of its pieces. A game contains a unique synergy in that after it is finished, it becomes more unique. Creating this distinct ‘synergy’ involves excellent computer skills, technical knowledge, and also a sense of art & design. It is almost like having the brains of Albert Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci combined into one! Game development usually takes on several processes, namely:
Generating a unique game design idea
Creating storyboards and sketches of the entire game world, characters and action
Listing details of the game
Combining concepts together in a unique ‘design document’ (similar to a movie script) that describes what the game is all about
Here are several basic tips that you should remember when developing your game’s blueprint:
The game should be something very easy to learn but hard to master. Try to come up with a game idea that is simple yet deep.
The game should be intuitive, fun, fair and accessible. In a nutshell, a game’s subject-matter should be something that your target audience already knows and loves to do, or is maybe something ‘worth trying’ as soon as it gets released in the market. If a game appears to be too unknown and weird to the public after getting a thirty second preview, then it is already considered ‘inaccessible’– it is something beyond the audience’s reach and therefore people will not purchase it.
The game’s user interface should be similar to standard usage. Online gaming players have already adopted their own form of standard language when it comes to controls. Don’t let the players use their left index finger for the character to jump when everyone else uses the A or B button.
Create equilibrium between control and user friendliness. If you give players more control, the more complicated their burden becomes. Always remember to keep ideas, concepts, themes simple.
Clearly differentiate video games from computer games. Video games are those typically played in a den or in the living room by players who would prefer more action rather than intellect or emotion. Computer games are usually played in a home office or office, usually by more mature, intellectual, and older players. Always remember to keep your target audience in mind.
It would be better to do two things excellently rather than ten things poorly. Simple game designs are better compared to the complex ones, and game quality should never be compromised.
Pictures will always be worth thousands of words. Chart, diagrams, illustrations, and tables are very illustrative and helpful. Keep those prose brief and concise and do not leave anything unexplained.
Hire a professional game tester. Get someone who has played numerous games on different platforms, handheld devices, and consoles. Closely consider their comments, criticisms and recommendations. Redesign your game as necessary so that you won’t be humiliated for a sub-par and mediocre video game.
Create a catchy one sentence description for your new game. Make sure you develop a brief statement that highlights the game’s essence and other key features.

My Top 10 Flash Games of All Time

There are thousands and thousands of flash games on the internet. Pin pointing the absolute top 10 is not just difficult it’s impossible. No one has played them all. So this personal list of top 10 flash games is just that, a personal list of my favourite flash games from the selection I have played. Not only have I not played some that you may have played, but our tastes my differ. So take this list as just me recommended playing list. Here they are in no particular order.
Reincarnation (Series): Reincarnation already has four full titles and five mini games in a span of two years! Each title is very well made graphics-wise and gameplay-wise. Together with full voice-over, the Reincarnation series’ production value is top-notch. The game is a point-and-click puzzler with a premise of murdering a devil reincarnated. However, you will make sure that it looks like an accident since these hell-spawns are assuming human lives. You control a devil that rises from Hell, dragging back his colleagues who managed to escape the eternal flames. Very cool.
Infectonator: Some people may find the pixelated graphics off-putting but Infectonator is a very good game. I love zombie-killing flash games. Infectonator reverses the zombie formula. Instead of you blowing up the heads of the undead, you are tasked to infect everyone on your screen. The disease you are spreading is fully upgradable! The pixelated mayhem in this game is overwhelming.
Clickplay 2: The first title is considered inferior and I agree. Clickplay 2 gets the core of its origin and spins a better line-up of puzzles. The grey themed graphics is well done but the heart of this game relies on several mini-puzzles, searching for the “Play” button to jump to the next level. Each mini-puzzle is unique and even if it’s short it’s packed with gaming goodness.
The Trader of Stories: Since flash games are bite-sized gaming, stories are mostly given less priority. Surprisingly, The Trader of Stories creates a wonderful world by putting a player to a task of writing a story! This point-and-click adventure is about piecing up stories from a mysterious little town. Graphics, hands down, the most beautiful among all of flash games. Bar none.
Take A Walk: Hand-drawn, no colours, very easy game. Why is this game included in my list? Simple, this rhythm game is the most relaxing flash game. The protagonist is an overworked office worker (sounds familiar) who decided to take a walk while listening to music, seeing his world in a new “colour”. Take A Walk is not a game, it’s an experience.
Garden Gnome Carnage: An “arcade-y” pixel game with lots of fun to offer, Garden Gnome Carnage is about stopping hoards and hoards of Santas from sliding down your chimney. It’s carnage with hundreds of Santas getting killed by being bumped out, thrown with bricks or getting scorched from the Air Strikes! This is a game that never gets old even if the theme is Christmas I can play this all year round.
Crush The Castle 2: I never played the original so I really can’t compare this sequel to the original. What I like most about Crush the Castle 2 is the physics. Crush the Castle 2’s physics is not the greatest but it mysteriously blends well with falling medieval debris. This is a launch game with the primary objective of destroying castles and its inhabitants with the fewest shots possible.
SuperStacker 2: The game is about stacking shapes in various sizes and keeping your hopes high that it holds its ground for 10 seconds. The game’s concept is simple, the execution is perfect. This sequel features 40 levels of intense stacking. There is also a level editor for you to create your own puzzle. That’s a lot for a simple game.
Harmony Keeper: Eating planets and stars may sound like a dreadful scene to watch. In Harmony Keeper, destruction is never this harmonious. The game is about stellar destruction, you are protected by your summons against forces which retaliate to save their own planets and very existence. The game is graphically-fantastic and customisation is deep enough to warrant different experience for every replay.
Reelz: Reelz is a slot game which is more of logical skill than luck. Managing one’s credits while keeping mental notes is a very nice mixture of non-physical gaming. The game’s repetitive nature is masked by the depth and complexity of the possibilities that the “reelz” are about to offer you.
The games above will surely eat a chunk of your time since most of these games have great replay value. Replay value is one of my standards when it comes to judging a flash game. Graphics are not that important as long as it complements the game. These are my top 10 flash games of all time, and I’m still playing them whenever I have time to spare.

Massage in Bucharest

Recognize it! You’re busy! And so must be! That’s what life is like! But you want more than that, you want to do more for yourself and massage can help. Because massage makes more than a simple relaxation of the mind and body. It keeps your body in shape and gives you enough energy to make you enjoy a longer life better than you do it today.

Massage releases stress. At the moment, stress is a universal evil. Every time you are late, every time you avoid a car in traffic, every time you have trouble working, stress is doing his job. Each time adrenaline increases heart rate and cortisone levels and organs respond to the measure. You will be in a state of nerves and constant agitation.
When there is no release of stress, serious problems such as an upset stomach, hypertension, sleep disturbances, chest pain, or existing illness may worsen.

Some of the changes that may occur are: Anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, permanent fatigue, muscle or bone pain, sexual dysfunction, excessive sleep or insomnia

All these stress-related problems can be diminished and some can be totally eliminated by massage. The researchers concluded that a massage session can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax your muscles and increase endorphin production. The massage also releases serotonin and dopamine and the result is a general relaxation, both physical and mental.
Our body care must be at the top of the priorities.
By adding the massage to your routine you will look much better and you will be much healthier and relaxed. Massage can improve your vitality and mood. Massage can prepare for a long and beautiful life.

Our masseuses personalize each massage session according to the needs of the individual.
Our massage parlors offer a variety of relaxation styles and techniques to help you. Apart from relaxing, massage can be a powerful ally in reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving mental and physical performance

We recommend : HotAngels , VipZone , JadePalace , ThaiPassion

After a massage session, you will see how the mental prospects are enriched, the body allows easier handling, better pressure resistance, relaxation and mental alertness, calm and creative thinking.
When you have the impression or force yourself to stay straight, your body is not actually aligned properly. Not only does the posture look bad, but it forces some of the muscles to go muddy all day, while others become weaker. After a long time, the incorrect position may cause other drops. For example, internal organs press on what affects digestion, breathing ability is also diminished, which means that much less blood and oxygen reaches the brain and hence all sorts of other complications.

Massage allows you to return your body to the track. Allowing the body to make healthy and accurate movements is one of the greatest benefits of massage. Massage can relax and restore muscles injured by bad posture, allowing the body to position itself in a natural, painless position.
Apart from posture, there is also anxiety. One of the signs of anxiety and stress can also be heavy breathing. When the body begins to breathe too little and deeply instead of breathing at a natural rithm, it is impossible for one to relax. One reason may also be that the chest muscles and the abdomen get tightened and the air gets harder.

Massage plays an important role in learning the body how to relax and how to improve breathing. Respiratory problems such as allergies, sinuses, asthma or bronchitis are a group of conditions that can benefit from massage. In fact, massage can have a positive impact on respiratory function.

Many of the muscles in the front and back of the upper part of the body are breathing accessory. When these muscles are tight and shorten they can block normal breathing and interrupt effective breathing natural rithm. Massage techniques for stretching and relaxing these muscles improves breathing function and breathability. Massage leads to an opening of the chest as well as structural alignment and nerve dilatation that are required for optimal pulmonary function. A good way to treat respiratory problems with massage is the taping made in Swedish massage. When done on the back, along with vibrations, it can detach the mucus from the lungs and can clean the airways for better later function.

Massage not only relaxes muscles, but helps people become aware of daily stress levels. Once the body recognizes what really means relaxation, the mind can rest easily relax before the stress becomes cornice and harmful. This will help you enjoy a balanced life. Massage controls breathing, allows the mind to re-create relaxation before the occurrence of chronic and harmful stress and increases the level of energy.
